Cathedralized Attic Insulation - VIP installs foam insulation adjacent to the roof. This is superior to R-30 ceiling installations because it provides a semi conditioned space in the attic. The seal it provides also reduces the amount of dust and pests that can infiltrate your attic which is found in traditional installations.

2 x 6 Construction - The 5.5 inch cavity of a 2 x 6 wall provides an R-19 value(the higher the r-value the more energy efficient) while the traditionally installed 2 x 4 provides only a 3.5 inch cavity and an R-13 value. Some studies show that it takes just 3 years to recoup the extra money spent to pay for the 2 x 6 construction.

Blown Insulation in the Walls - While 2 x 6 walls make an R-19 value in the cavity possible the blown insulation ensures that the value is true. Blown insulation achieves this because unlike fiberglass batts it does not allow any voids or gaps. Other advantages of blown insulation include it's sound deadening capabilities and the pest deterance that the boric acid provides.

Lennox A/C Systems that perform up to 14 Seer - Seer which stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio is the rating which helps you determine how efficient an A/C unit is. VIP provides America's best brand and a higher seer rating

42" Upper Cabinets at Kitchen - Since most builders include a 30" cabinet you will get 12" more of cabinet storage in your VIP kitchen. That is 33% more cabinet space than a typical tract builder. Please check with your sales agent to make sure this is a standard feature in your community.

Deeper 3 Car Garages - Many of VIP's standard garages are 21' to 24' deep. That is about 3' - 6' deeper than a tract home. Suburbans and trucks are welcome here! Please refer to the floorplan for the particular depth of your VIP Garage.

Washable Paint - We put a satin/eggshell paint on our walls to keep your walls looking nice and new. Most builders settle for flat paint. Flat paint is notorious for leaving marks with every touch.
